1. Privacy Policy and Controller

Buli Fitness Oy (Business ID 3601232-9) ("we", "us") is the controller of personal data processed through the Buli Fitness mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal data and how you can exercise your rights. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

3. Personal Data We Collect

To create and secure your account, we collect your email address. You may also choose an optional username to access additional features. Buli Fitness collects profile and fitness data you provide in the questionnaire, such as age, sex/gender, height, weight, fitness level and experience, training goals, training schedule and preferences, equipment access, exercise dislikes, physical limitations or constraints, sleep quality, and daily physical demand. This data is used to tailor your training program. We also collect training data you generate while using the App, such as workout history, exercise logs, sets, reps, weights, and progress metrics. If you contact support, we collect the information you provide in your messages and any attachments. We may also collect basic metadata such as app version and platform to help resolve issues. We collect technical and usage data necessary to operate and improve the App, such as device type, operating system version, app version, language settings, and diagnostic events like crashes and performance errors.

4. How We Use Personal Data

We use your data to provide the App, create and personalize training plans, generate Buli Fitness recommendations, process subscriptions, communicate with you about your account, provide support, monitor performance, detect misuse, and improve features. If you opt in to marketing, we may send you updates and promotional content, and you can opt out at any time.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, with your consent when required (for example, marketing), and for our legitimate interests such as security, analytics, and product improvement.

6. Sharing and Service Providers

We use trusted service providers for hosting, data storage, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, automated workout generation, customer support, and subscription management. These providers process data only on our instructions and under appropriate contracts. Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; we receive purchase status and subscription information but do not receive your full payment card details.

7. Affiliate Links and External Sites

The App may include links to third-party products or services, including affiliate links to fitness equipment or supplements. If you use those links, the third party's terms and privacy policies apply, and Buli Fitness may receive a commission. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

8. International Transfers

We aim to store and process personal data within the EU/EEA. If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

9. Retention and Deletion

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the App and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. You can delete your account in the App or request deletion at any time. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data unless retention is required by law or for legitimate purposes such as resolving disputes, enforcing our terms, or protecting security. You can also request deletion of support tickets.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to request data portability. When processing is based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App and update the date below.
